Fever Profile-2

1600

Fever Profile Advance is a complete diagnostic solution for the evaluation of persistent, high-grade, or unexplained fever. It is useful to diagnose bacterial, viral, parasitic, and inflammatory diseases and allows for correct diagnosis and early clinical treatment.

Warranted for patients who have prolonged fever, chills, body aches, tiredness, weakness, or suspected systemic infections. It allows a detailed assessment of the severity of an infection, immune response, and organ involvement in the infection.

Common tests performed are Complete Blood Count (CBC), Urine Routine Examination, Widal Test, Malaria Antigen (Vivax & Falciparum), C-Reactive Protein (Quantitative – CRP), and Blood Culture & Sensitivity (1 Vial). These investigations assist with detecting some common causes of infectious diseases like malaria, typhoid, and blood poisoning, and measuring the amount of body inflammation.

A Fever Profile Advance is an indispensable helping tool in the early detection and differentiation of febrile illnesses. It helps doctors start focused and effective treatment, helping to minimise complications and enhance recovery.

It includes blood and urine samples, which are easily taken, and this test typically has a fast turnaround time. Normally you do not need to fast unless directed by the physician. This profile is beneficial when seasonal changes take place or during the monsoon season, when fever-related infections occur, so that the diagnosis is made promptly and the patient gets better care.
