This test measures the free fraction of T3 & T4 hormones. A free fraction is a fraction which is not bound to proteins and is free for reaction. FT3 & FT4 are important in patients with hypoproteinemia and / or hyperproteinemia. The test includes FT3, FT4, and TSH-Ultra.
Test information: Fasting not necessary, but preferred
Reporting: Within 6 hours*
