Nuclear Medicine Physician
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Physician to join our diagnostic imaging center. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nuclear medicine diagnostic services, interpreting imaging studies, and collaborating with referring physicians to support accurate diagnosis and patient care.
Skills Required
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and report nuclear medicine studies, including PET/CT, SPECT/CT, bone scans, thyroid scans, and renal studies.
- Perform and supervise nuclear medicine diagnostic procedures.
- Review patient history and clinical indications to ensure appropriate imaging and interpretation.
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to referring physicians.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety and applicable regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records and diagnostic reports.
- Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with radiologists, oncologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Stay updated on advances in nuclear medicine, radiopharmaceuticals, and imaging technologies.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) with specialization/training in Nuclear Medicine.
- Valid medical license/registration to practice.
- Relevant experience as a Nuclear Medicine Physician.
- Strong expertise in nuclear medicine imaging and interpretation.
- Experience with PET/CT and SPECT/CT is preferred.
- Good communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills.
- Strong commitment to patient safety and quality care.
