Molecular Diagnostics and Therapy Hosts CME in Association with IMA Gwalior

The Indian Medical Association (IMA) and Molecular Diagnostics and Therapy at Radisson Hotel hosted a highly successful event titled “Continuing Medical Education (CME)” featuring prestigious luminaries along with medical scientists, doctors, and healthcare experts who discussed the latest innovations in the field of nuclear medicine and the role it plays in clinical decision making, which was a great success.

The programme kicked off with the distinguished speakers addressing the audience on the theme ‘Introduction to Nuclear Medicine’ by Dr K.B. Agrawal, Guest of Honour for the programme, and MBBS, MD (Medicine), DRM. During his presentation, he highlighted the importance of nuclear medicine in the healthcare world today and the role it plays nowadays to help to strike the right parts of the diagnosis and treatment approach.

Dr Nikunj Jain, Co-Founder & HOD of Molecular Diagnostics and Therapy, titled ‘Nuclear Medicine in Everyday Clinical Decision Making’. He emphasised, "In oncology, cardiology, neurology, endocrinology and many other medical specialities, advanced imaging such as PET-CT and gamma camera studies play an increasingly vital role in increasing the accuracy of diagnosis and treatment planning, and enhancing patient outcomes.”

Members of the Indian Medical Association, as well as healthcare professionals from all over the region, actively attended the CME. The session discussed the need to include state-of-the-art diagnostic tools into the mainstream of clinical practice and increase the awareness of and understanding of early detection of disease and tailored treatment strategies.

The event was run under the guidance and support of Dr Sunil Agrawal, President, IMA Gwalior, Dr Anurag Chauhan (Secretary, IMA Gwalior), Dr Vivek Jain (Assistant Director of CGP), and Dr Brijesh Sharma (Secretary, CGP). There was also a presence of the representatives from Molecular Diagnostics and Therapy at the programme, led by Mr Mohit Gupta (Co-Founder & CEO), Dr Nikunj Jain (Co-Founder & MD), and Mr Vishal Gupta (SVP – Operations).

Finally, Mr Aviral Gupta delivered the vote of thanks, followed by networking, music, and dinner. The CME was also a significant forum for learning and reaffirmed the mutual dedication of the medical community to using cutting-edge diagnostics and treatment methods to provide better patient care.
