Dr. Kamal Kumawat is a consultant in Nuclear Medicine, with a special interest in Molecular Diagnostics and Therapy. His area of work includes in-depth knowledge and experience in contemporary nuclear imaging modalities. His practice is much appreciated because of his accuracy, efficiency, and patient-friendly approach. Both his MBBS and his Diploma in Radiation Medicine were done from Sardar Patel Medical College (SPMC), Bikaner, and then from the Institute of Nuclear Medicine & Allied Sciences (INMAS), New Delhi, respectively. His training at INMAS has also exposed him well to PET CT scanning and gamma camera imaging, apart from other exposures to radionuclide-related diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as low-dose iodine therapies.

Dr. Kumawat has experience in performing and interpreting PET CT and gamma camera imaging procedures. In addition to his experience in nuclear medicine diagnostics and therapies, he also gained experience in the administration of low-dose iodine therapy during his postgraduate training. He is also flexible to work in a busy environment with a variable workload and is known for his ability to learn quickly and adapt to clinical requirements.
