What is an Annual Health Checkup for Women?

An annual health checkup is a routine health exam, designed to check on a person's overall health regularly. The female health checkup includes several tests that check various organs, systems, and measurements of health.

In blood tests, blood cells, blood sugar, cholesterol levels, nutritional levels, thyroid function, and organ function are evaluated. Q12A urine samples are used to evaluate urinary health, and imaging and other diagnostic tests can evaluate the abdomen, breast, cardiac, pulmonary, and bone density. The package includes the following tests:

  • Full blood count (CBC): Red blood cells, white blood cells, haemoglobin, and platelets.
  • Liver function tests (LFT): Enzymes and proteins related to the liver.
  • Lipid profile: Assesses lipids in the blood. Cholesterol and triglyceride levels.
  • HbA1c: Shows average blood sugar levels over a 2-3 month period.
  • Fasting blood glucose: Blood sugar levels whilst fasting.

  • USG Whole Abdomen: Ultrasound of the organs of the abdomen - liver, kidneys, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen, urinary bladder.
  • ECG: Conduction of the electrical activity of the heart.
  • Blood Urea Nitrogen (BUN): Blood urea nitrogen (BUN) is a test to evaluate kidney function and is directly related to the level of urea nitrogen in the blood.
  • Breast Screen: Low-dose X-rays to look at breast tissue and identify suspicious changes.
  • ESR (Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate): The rate at which red blood cells settle out of the blood and may be raised if there's inflammation.
