X-RAY BOTH FOOT AP VIEW

500

Book an X-Ray Both Foot AP view, at Molecular Diagnostics and Therapy, an NABL & NABH Accredited Diagnostic Centre. Special technology used at our facility creates digital X-rays, which allow the doctors to get an up-close look at both heels side by side. This helps them to diagnose congenital deformities, arthritis, joint abnormalities, and fractures in the foot bones and joints. We have highly experienced radiologists in our team, and we aspire to deliver high-quality imaging and comprehensive results without excessive radiation exposure, leading to timely reports that facilitate accurate diagnosis and optimally guide treatment.

About X-Ray Both Foot AP View

X-ray Both Foot Anteroposterior (AP or from the front to back) View is the specialized X-ray of both feet seen from the front. The forward projection will show the metatarsals, phalanges, the tarsal bones, and foot joints in detail. By imaging both feet, doctors can compare the injured foot to the other, helping them to see subtle foot injuries or uncover structural differences. At Molecular Diagnostics and Therapy, we have sophisticated digital radiography systems that allow us to take excellent pictures for accurate diagnosis and an examination of abnormalities in the feet.

What is an X-Ray Both Foot AP View?

X-ray Both Foot AP View is an imaging procedure that evaluates both feet's bones and joints, and is a quick, painless, and non-invasive procedure. It aids physicians in determining the correct alignment of the bones, fractures, joint abnormalities, and assessing degenerative changes in the feet. The exam is often ordered for patients with pain, swelling, or injuries to their feet or problems with walking.

Common Reasons for an X-Ray: Both Foot AP View

  • Foot injury following a fall or accident
  • Persistent pain in one or both feet
  • Suspected fractures
  • Swelling or tenderness of the feet
  • Difficulty walking or bearing weight
  • Evaluation of arthritis
  • Assessment of congenital foot deformities
  • Follow-up after foot surgery or treatment
