Book your X-ray Chest PA view at Advanced Radiology and Pathology Services, Molecular Diagnostics and Therapy, which is a Certified Laboratory and an NABL and NABH Certified Diagnostic Centre. An advanced digital X-ray makes it possible for the doctor to examine high-quality, detailed images of the chest and to diagnose and treat many respiratory and cardiovascular illnesses following a detailed examination of the lungs, heart, airways, and surrounding tissues. Our expert radiologists provide timely imaging, minimize radiation, and promptly report to facilitate timely diagnosis and effective treatment planning.

About X-Ray Chest PA View

The most common chest X-ray exam is a chest X-ray taken in PA (posteroanterior) position. This is based on a sender of the X-ray beam from the back (posterior) of the chest to the front (anterior) of the chest, standing in front of the detector. The view gives an overall more representative view of the heart & lungs and is the preferred view for routine exams of the Chest. For Molecular Diagnostics and Therapy, we use state-of-the-art digital(radiographic) systems providing high-quality images with enhanced clarity and reduced radiation exposure.

What is an X-Ray Chest PA View?

A quick, painless, and non-invasive imaging test that can show a detailed picture of the lungs, heart, trachea, ribs, diaphragm, and other structures around the chest. It is commonly requested for diagnosis of infections, enlargement of the lungs and heart, and other abnormalities of the chest. This is usually the first imaging test performed on patients if they are having breathing problems or as part of general checks on their health.

Common Reasons for an X-Ray Chest PA View

  • Persistent cough
  • Chest pain
  • Shortness of breath
  • Fever with suspected lung infection
  • Evaluation of tuberculosis
  • Pre-employment or pre-operative health check-ups
  • Follow-up of lung or heart diseases
  • Annual preventive health screening
