The HSG has long been recognized for its use in detecting tubal patency, polyps, submucosal leiomyomas, synechiae, müllerian anomalies, hydrosalpinges, salpingitis isthmica nodosum (SIN), and peritubal adhesions

Test information: Fasting: 4 hours

Reporting: Within 04 hours*

  • The test is performed on the 06th-10th day of the menstrual cycle.
  • Fasting: 04 hours.
  • Please carry your medical documents.
  • The patients needing anaesthesia may inform well in advance. An additional charge of anaesthesia is levied on such cases.
  • You may be asked to remove some clothing and change into a gown for the exam. Remove jewellery, metallic objects, or clothing that might interfere with the x-ray images.
  • You are asked to empty your bladder before the test.
  • Please carry identification proof such as an Aadhar card, pan card etc.
