This test is done on an appointment basis and instructions are given to be followed one day before the test.
One day before the test, 04 hours of fasting is needed before the test.
Please carry a Serum Creatinine report and other medical documents.
An empty and full bladder is needed at different stages of the test. Please follow the instructions of the staff.
You may be asked to remove some clothing and change it into a gown for the exam. Remove jewellery, metallic objects, or clothing that might interfere with the x-ray images.
Women should inform about any chance of pregnancy as generally an X-ray is not performed on pregnant patients.

The X-ray imaging is a simple procedure to perform.
The technologist position you as per the protocol and carefully aims the x-ray beam at the area of interest.
You are requested to remain still and may need to hold your breath when asked to do so.
Multiple delayed images may be needed.
When the examination is complete, the technologist may ask you to wait until the images are verified.
The total duration of the procedure may take upto 02 hours.
