Obtain your X-Ray Left Toes AP & Oblique Views at the NABL & NABH Accredited Diagnostic Centre at Molecular Diagnostics and Therapy with the aid of the most advanced radiology & pathology services available. The high-tech digital X-ray provides views of the left toes in a frontal (AP) and lateral (oblique) position, which aids the physician in diagnosing such things as fractures, dislocations, arthritis, bone abnormalities, and others that occur in the toes and forefoot. Our experienced radiologists can capture images with an accurate level of precision, minimised radiation exposure, and prompt reporting for accurate diagnosis and trusted treatment planning.
About X-Ray Left Toes AP & Oblique Views
An X-Ray Left Toes AP & Oblique Views is a specialized imaging study of the left toes that takes two pictures. The Anteroposterior (AP) view delivers a frontal picture, and the Oblique view allows a view to see the toe bones and joints in a more amplified view at an angle. The views together offer a complete examination of phalanges, metatarsophalangeal (MTP) joints, interphalangeal (IP) joints, and the bone surrounding these. We enable you to receive high-quality images with our advanced digital radiography (DR) systems and use them to make the proper diagnosis of toe injuries and musculoskeletal disorders.
What is an X-Ray Left Toes AP & Oblique Views?
X-ray Left Toes AP and Oblique Views is an imaging exam that is quick, painless, and non-invasive, used to assess the bones and joints of the left toes. In conjunction with the AP projection, the oblique can be used to help evaluate the alignment of the bones, fracture localization, joint dislocation, and degenerative or inflammatory changes in the toes. This exam is often ordered when people have toe pain, swelling, trauma, deformity, or problems with walking.
Common Reasons for an X-Ray Left Toes AP & Oblique Views
Left toe injury following a fall or accident
Persistent toe pain
Suspected toe fracture
Toe dislocation
Swelling or tenderness of the toes
Difficulty walking or bearing weight
Evaluation of arthritis
Follow-up after toe surgery or fracture treatment
Conditions Evaluated
Toe Fractures
Detects fractures involving the phalanges or adjacent metatarsal bones.
Toe Dislocation
