Book your X-Ray PNS Waters scan at one of the NABL and NABH-accredited Diagnostic Centres in India, Molecular Diagnostics and Therapy. This is a specialized X-ray that images the paranasal sinuses (PNS), primarily the maxillary sinuses, as well as the nasal cavity, orbital floor, and facial bones. It is used routinely to diagnose sinus infections, trauma, and other abnormal changes around the sinus region. We take full advantage of digital X-ray technology to provide our patients with superior image quality and clarity for timely diagnosis and treatment planning.
About X-Ray PNS Waters View
X-ray PNS Waters View: This is a special X-ray study that focuses on the paranasal sinuses, particularly the Maxillary sinuses. It's one of the most frequently used X-ray views for the diagnosis of sinus disease and facial bone injuries. In most clinical settings, the Waters view can serve as an initial imaging tool, although the CT scan provides higher-resolution imaging.
What is an X-Ray PNS Waters View?
This X-ray test uses a low dosage to depict the positions of the paranasal sinuses along with other facial bones. The Waters view not only allows excellent visualization of the maxillary sinuses, but it is also used to examine the frontal and ethmoid sinuses, nasal cavity, orbital floor, and zygomatic bones as well. The process is very fast and painless and is performed with careful positioning, providing high-quality diagnostic images.
Common Reasons for an X-Ray PNS Waters View
