X-RAY RIGHT SCAPULA AP VIEW

500

X-Ray Right Scapula View is performed at Molecular Diagnostics and Therapy, which is an NABL & NABH Accredited Diagnostic Centre providing both advanced Radiology and Pathology services. Our sophisticated digital X-ray imaging captures a detailed Anteroposterior (AP) view of the right shoulder blade (scapula) to allow doctors to diagnose fractures, bone abnormalities, shoulder injuries, and other conditions of the scapular region. With professional radiologists, we are able to achieve accurate imaging to ensure as little radiation as possible, while providing reports in a timely manner to help diagnose and plan for effective treatment.

About X-Ray Right Scapula AP View

The X-Ray Right Scapula AP View is a special imaging test that takes a front view of the scapula on the right side. Illustrates specifically the important structures, such as the body of the scapula, the scapular spine, the acromion process, the coracoid process, the glenoid cavity, and surrounding shoulder bones. Digital radiography systems are cutting-edge, producing high-resolution images for accurate evaluation of any musculoskeletal disorder or scapular injury at Molecular Diagnostics and Therapy.

What is an X-Ray Right Scapula AP View?

The X-Ray Right Scapula AP View is a quick, painless, and non-invasive imaging test to assess the right shoulder blade. AP can be helpful in determining the alignment of bones, evaluating fractures, identifying bone abnormalities, and determining changes from trauma or other bone disease. This test is frequently ordered for those with pain, swelling, injury, or other shoulder blade problems that cause limitation of shoulder motion.

Common Reasons for an X-Ray Right Scapula AP View

  • Right shoulder blade injury following a fall or accident
  • Persistent pain around the scapular region
  • Suspected scapular fracture
  • Swelling or tenderness over the shoulder blade
  • Difficulty moving the shoulder
  • Evaluation of bone abnormalities
  • Assessment of chronic shoulder pain
  • Follow-up after fracture treatment or surgery

Conditions Evaluated

Scapular Fractures

Detects fractures involving the body, neck, spine, acromion, and coracoid process of the scapula.

Bone Alignment Abnormalities

Evaluates changes in scapular position caused by trauma or injury.

Shoulder Joint Abnormalities

Assesses associated changes involving the glenoid cavity and nearby shoulder structures.

Bone Lesions

Helps identify cysts, tumors, infections, or other abnormalities affecting the scapula.

Congenital Bone Abnormalities

Evaluates developmental abnormalities involving the shoulder blade.

Post-Traumatic and Post-Surgical Changes

Monitors healing following fractures, orthopedic procedures, or other treatments.
