About X-Ray Right Toes AP & Oblique Views
An X-Ray Right Toes AP & Oblique Views is a specialized type of X-ray imaging procedure that takes two different pictures of the right toes. The Anteroposterior (AP) view is a front-on picture, and the Oblique view is an angled view for a more detailed picture of the toe bones and the joints. These views give a comprehensive evaluation of the phalanges, metatarsal bones, joints of the toes, and surrounding bones. Our team at Molecular Diagnostics and Therapy is equipped with cutting-edge digital radiography systems, allowing us to produce some high-resolution images with which to accurately determine injury to the toes as well as musculoskeletal conditions.
What is an X-Ray Right Toes AP & Oblique Views?
An X-ray of Right Toes AP & Oblique Views is a non-invasive, non-destructive, rapid, and painless imaging study that examines bones and joints of the right toes. Because of the AP and oblique projections, the combination of these images helps doctors determine bone alignment, detect fractures, determine joint disabilities, or determine degenerative or inflammatory changes to the toe. This examination is often performed when the patient has pain, swelling, injury, trouble walking, or poor toe movement.
