About X-Ray Right Submandibular – Occlusal View
An X-ray of the right submandibular gland and the under jaw (occlusal right submandibular) is a specialized dental and maxillofacial radiograph. The X-ray is especially helpful in finding stones in the salivary glands (sialoliths); in determining the extent of involvement of the mandible; and for identifying disorders of the surrounding soft tissue and bone. Molecular Diagnostics and Therapy achieves high-resolution images with the use of our advanced digital radiography systems that help to accurately assess the oral and maxillofacial conditions.
What is an X-Ray Right Submandibular – Occlusal View?
X-Ray Right Submandibular – Occlusal View is an imaging examination that is quick, non-invasive, and painless, where the X-ray film or digital detector is placed in a person's mouth, and the area covered by the submandibular gland is viewed in the image. This technique allows a detailed examination of the floor, mandible, and salivary ducts. It is frequently used for patients who have pain, swelling, or are suspected of having a salivary gland disorder.

Pain or swelling below the jaw
Difficulty during eating due to gland obstruction
