About X-Ray Zygomatic Arch – Both Sides

An X-ray of the zygomatic arch (on both sides) is a special X-ray image of the two rounded bony structures that make up the prominence of the cheeks called the zygomatic arches. You can compare both sides after examining each side to see if there are subtle fractures or deformities after facial injuries. Molecular Diagnostics and Therapy employs high-resolution digital radiography equipment to capture accurate images of the facial bones for correct evaluation of conditions within the bone.

What is an X-Ray Zygomatic Arch – Both Sides?

X-ray Zygomatic Arch – Both Sides is a simple, painless, noninvasive imaging procedure to help evaluate the cheekbones and other structures of the face. It is useful for the diagnosis of fractures, displacement, bone lesions, and abnormal structures of the zygomatic arches. Following facial trauma, or when the patient is having symptoms of pain and swelling that are going on for a long period of time, the examination is usually recommended.
