X-RAY BOTH KNEES ROSENBERG VIEW

₹500

An advanced diagnostic centre and a diagnostic centre accredited by NABL and NABH, Molecular Diagnostics and Therapy provide X-ray Both Knee Rosenberg View. Special X-ray is performed with your feet flat on the floor, on both of your knees. It assists in evaluating the spaces on the joints, cartilage changes, misaligned bones, and indications of knee osteoarthritis.

About X-Ray Both Knee Rosenberg View

X-ray Both Knee Rosenberg View is a special X-ray image that's taken to help determine the status of both knee joints while the person is standing and carrying weight. The Rosenberg view is generally taken with the knees slightly bent, allowing better visualisation of the joint spaces, particularly in the back portion of the knee joint. This is helpful for viewing joint-space narrowing and signs of degenerative changes, which may not be clearly seen on regular knee radiographs. It is often recommended for individuals with knee pain, stiffness, or trouble walking.

Common Reasons for X-Ray: Both Knee Rosenberg View

  • Pain in the knee joint(s)
  • Investigating degenerative changes in the joint(s) due to osteoarthritis
  • Stiffness in the knee joint(s)
  • Investigating bony and joint changes in the knee joint(s) causing reduced movement
  • Difficult walking
  • Investigating joint abnormalities in the knee joint(s)
  • To look at joint spaces in weight-bearing
  • To monitor degenerative changes or osteoarthritis in known knee joint(s)

Conditions Evaluated

Knee Osteoarthritis

The examination helps identify signs of osteoarthritis, including narrowing of the joint space and changes in the surrounding bones.

Joint Space Narrowing

The Rosenberg view provides a weight-bearing assessment of the knee joint spaces. It helps identify narrowing that may be associated with cartilage loss.

Degenerative Bone Changes

The images may show changes such as bone spurs, also known as osteophytes, and other features associated with degenerative joint disease.

Knee Joint Alignment

The examination helps assess the alignment of both knee joints and identify visible structural abnormalities.

Bilateral Knee Joint Abnormalities

Imaging both knees allows the radiologist to compare the joint spaces and identify differences or abnormalities affecting either side.
