The radiographer will position you correctly, and the table will move slowly through the CT scanner.
Multiple detailed images of the lower abdomen and pelvic organs will be captured without the use of contrast material.
You may be asked to hold your breath for a few seconds during image acquisition to improve image quality.
The scan is painless and usually takes 5–10 minutes.
