CT CAROTID ANGIOGRAPHY

CT angiography is performed to diagnose and evaluate many diseases of blood vessels and related conditions such as aneurysms, blockages, blood clots, congenital (birth-related) abnormalities of the cardiovascular system, including the heart, disorganized blood vessels, such as vascular malformations, injury, tumours, vessel rupture or tears among others.

Test information: Fasting : 04 hours

Reporting: Within 24 hours*

  • Fasting: 04 hours.
  • Please carry a Serum Creatinine blood report and other medical documents.
  • Remove jewellery, metallic objects, or clothing that might interfere with the x-ray images.
  • Women should inform about any chance of pregnancy and the last menstrual cycle (LMP) date. In general CT scan is not performed on pregnant patients.
  • Please carry identification proof such as an Aadhar card, pan card etc.
