PET vs CT Scan: Differences, Uses

In medicine, images are valuable to diagnose and assess the symptoms of an illness, to determine a treatment plan, and to evaluate a patient's condition. Two commonly discussed imaging techniques are PET and CT scans. Both give a detailed look at what's going on inside the body but require different methods to provide different information.
