About USG Whole Abdomen + TVS

A USG Whole Abdomen + TVS is a combination of Whole Abdomen Ultrasound and Transvaginal Sonography (TVS), which provides detailed organ imaging of the abdomen and female reproductive organs.

Transabdominal ultrasound (TVS) assesses the liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen, kidneys, urinary bladder, and other abdominal organs; the ultrasound scans the whole abdomen (TVS) produce high-quality images of the uterus, the ovaries, cervix, endometrium, and the organs of the pelvic region. Combined examination is performed at Molecular Diagnostics and Therapy, which allows you to have a detailed evaluation in one sitting.

What is USG Whole Abdomen + TVS?

This examination combines two ultrasound procedures:

Whole Abdomen Ultrasound

Evaluates:

  • Liver
  • Gallbladder
  • Pancreas
  • Spleen
  • Kidneys
  • Urinary bladder
  • Major abdominal structures

Transvaginal Sonography (TVS)

Provides a detailed assessment of:

  • Uterus
  • Endometrium
  • Cervix
  • Ovaries
  • Adnexa
  • Pelvic cavity

TVS offers superior visualization of the female pelvic organs compared to a routine abdominal pelvic ultrasound and is commonly recommended for evaluating gynecological conditions and infertility.
